Exterior and interior design

Grand Large line ideologist Umberto Felci continued to work with the Dufour shipyard despite the change of ownership, and even proposed a completely new hull and interior design, embodied in the Dufour 430. High sides, a wide stern and a full bow are typical lines of a modern boat. With the optional teak finish, the bulwark looks particularly advantageous. And the steering posts with sports wheels are from another fairy tale. Impressive.

The interior space of the sailboat is perfectly lit thanks to the many windows. For example, two in the forward cockpit and two panoramic ones on the sides. In the basic three-stateroom version, the offset bow galley allows for a larger salon for receiving guests.

Amenities on board

While the bow cabin is spacious, the aft cabin has less headroom. However, taking a horizontal position here still makes you feel comfortable. The main trick is not to get up sharply. For some reason, the shipyard decided to limit itself to two bathrooms in all versions, but the cabins are spacious enough, plus the shower has a screen. The light here is perfect.

Features of Dufour 430

Of course, there’s a bathing platform, a stacker machine, a grill aft and LED lighting. The enlarged salon and spacious cockpit will allow it to receive more guests and have better entertainment. Ease of operation will even allow you to sail around the surrounding coves.

Cruising area

The Dufour 430 Grand Large is capable of long cruises but under the circumstance of changing the way some things are onboard. So unless you are ready to tailor it, especially for this occasion, probably the best solution would be to look into the nearest bays and enjoy the sun and sea.
